I am not worried about Capcom releasing the game on the DC either. So I can imagine most of Capcom SNK 2's target audience being upset. This describes my current situation at the least. I imagine that many fans of arcade games have Dreamcasts, and have yet to get a PS2.

I am not insisting that Capcom bring any game to the Dreamcast except Capcom SNK 2. But I can also understand why Capcom left it out.īut some crazed hardcore fans still insist on a dying Sega system! I can understand someone wanting the play the board game. it's somewhat surprising that you don't seem to understand how someone would WANT to play the board game. I'd say they'd get over it pretty quickly. Not many people I know around here care about the Dreamcast except for Soul Calibur and Jet Grind Radio (and the person that cares about Jet Grind has a PS2 already). SNK 2 for the DC, an irrational want given that Capcom is an independent developer but some crazed hardcore fans still insist on a dying Sega system! The American release of games sometimes has extras as well. This makes it seem like it happens every day. That is why I am learning Japanese, so I will no longer have to deal with basatrdized North American releases of Japanese games. Raku Gaki Showtime and Tobal 2 are the only ones I can think of now. There are a few Japanese games that I would have liked to play that never came out here. Why? Because they get such games as Sanpo No Inu or Tokyo Bus Guide or Japanese Pop Idol or Densha de Go!. Video gaming as a non-Japanese isn't fair. The point system in Capcom SNK is obscene. And it pisses me off when games make me go to lengths to unlock characters. I want to play the fighting game, not a board game. I would have paid more for the quirky extras instead of them skimming off the top and selling it at that (reasonable) price. That reminds me of how Capcom wasted their time bringing Darkstalkers 3 to the PSX in the US. But of course Capcom aren't motherfuckers for doing this, they'd be extremely smart! But ditching the Dreamcast for a more viable system? That's UNFORGIVABLE. SNK 2, so you'll have absolutely no reason to be disappointed if they pull Dreamcast support early! wouldn't you? Oh, and there'll be a PS2 version of Capcom vs. Shin-Gouki: I would have paid more for the quirky extras instead of them skimming off the top and selling it at that (reasonable) price. Though it's been decrypted for arcade emulator use, it'd be a nice gesture to get the same quirky action as the Japanese do.

Sheesh, some people think that Capcom NOT translating the board game is a FAVOR to you and that a PROPER solution is for me to buy an import that I can't read in order to get something the Japanese gamers get as an expected luxury?!
